1. Install and license

1. Upload the apLists ZIP through Plugins → Add New.
2. Activate apLists.
3. Open apLists → License, save your key, and activate it.

2. Create a list

1. Open apLists → Lists.
2. Name the list, set the reply-to email, and keep double opt-in enabled.
3. Select Create list.

3. Add or import subscribers

Add an individual subscriber under Subscribers, or import a CSV containing email and optional first_name and last_name columns. Mark imported contacts as consented only when you possess that permission.

4. Publish a signup form

Copy the shortcode shown beside the list and paste it into a page or post. Submit a test signup and complete confirmation.

5. Protect the list

Use Segments for targeting and Suppressions for complaints, hard bounces, and manual exclusions. Export a portable CSV whenever needed.
